On 24 May 2014 at the Home, Food and Wine Weekend, held at Sydney’s Westfield Bondi Junction, Peppers and Australian Gourmet Traveller teamed up to present a taste of the Southern Highlands.
Executive Chefs Daniel James from Peppers Manor House, and Warrick Brook from Peppers Craigieburn took the audience on a culinary journey through the Southern Highlands region in New South Wales.
In a live demonstration hosted by Australian Gourmet Traveller's editor Anthea Loucas, guests were introduced to the best local ingredients of the region, and learnt how to cook a beautiful autumnal dish using Mittagong Tunnel Mushrooms, Thirlmere Duck Prosciutto, Truffle and Sutton Forest Extra Virgin Olive Oil – and flowers foraged from the market garden.
